From humble beginnings in 1973, the Annual Chelsea Painters Art Fair has gone on to become the area's premier Fine Arts fair. Twenty-five to thirty highly accomplished artists exhibit work done in a variety of media: watercolor, encaustic, gouache, acrylic, oil, pastels, monotype and mixed media.
All pieces on display are original pieces of Fine Art.
Many of the artists also display hand-crafted note cards suitable for framing.
Come Light Rain or Shine (the Art Fair will close for high winds, hail, lightning, strong rain or flooding and will re-open once the weather settles. The Art Fair will not re-open if a storm strikes late in the day).
Children's activities sponsored by the Chelsea Center for the Arts.
A percentage of proceeds will be donated to the Chelsea Center for the Arts (CCA) and to the Chelsea Community Hospital Auxilary Scholarship Fund.
