Alliance Truck Parts 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series

The NASCAR Nationwide Series will make its 21st appearance at MIS in 2012. Fans will see many of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series' top stars go head-to-head with the Nationwide Series regulars and NASCAR newcomer Danica Patrick in what makes for a great day of racing. Kids 12 and under are free. Junior pricing for 13-17 are half price in any reserved seats.
Michigan 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
June 17
The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series returns to the Irish Hills on Father's Day with the running of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series 400. NASCAR stars, such as Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart return to MIS for another action-packed day of side-by-side racing.

The Wish-A-Mile 300 Bicycle Tour, or WAM as it is affectionately known by riders, is a three-day tour through Michigan. This year WAM celebrates 25 years of riding to help make wishes come true for Michigan children with life-threatening medical conditions. The silver anniversary of WAM brings an exciting new finish at the Michigan International Speedway.

WAM 50 is a one day, 50-mile bicycle ride following a beautiful loop route starting and finishing at Michigan International Speedway. The August race weekend at MIS kicks off with NASCAR Sprint Cup practice, featuring NASCAR's top drivers setting up their cars for Sunday's Sprint Cup Series race. Friday activities at MIS are one low price, guaranteeing you a day of fun and excitement. It's a great day to try out NASCAR...bring the kids!
VFW 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
August 18
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series VFW 200 puts on some of the best racing MIS has to offer every year with many races featuring some of the closest finishes in track history. Kids 12 and under are free on Saturdays. Junior pricing for 13-17 are half price in any reserved seat. Stick around after the race for the free concert!
Pure Michigan 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
August 19
The 2012 racing season concludes with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Pure Michigan 400. The Sprint Cup Series stars always end the MIS season with an exciting finale, featuring many lead changes and exciting finishes. With great camping, affordable adult prices, kids 12 and under free in the Turn 3 grandstands (children require ticket), half off in any reserved seat for juniors 13-17, free parking and the ability to bring a bigger cooler with your favorite food and beverages, MIS is the perfect way to end your summer race season.

The Michigan Kart Club will host a go kart road race at Michigan International Speedway on Sept. 28-29. The MKC expects more than 300 entrants from as far away as Texas and Oklahoma.
